Ralph Duyane Cummings, Sr.
Ralph Duyane Cummings, Sr., 86, of Swanton, MD, previously of Morgantown, passed away Saturday morning, August 26th, 2023 at his residence.

He was the son of the late James and Lenora Arnett Cummings.

He is survived by his wife Janice Cosner Cummings of Swanton, MD; five children, Bret, Kathleen, Ronda, Gregory, and Rodney; two step-children, Ken and Jason; his siblings Edward and Cheryl; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy L. Isenhart Cummings; a son Ralph Duwayne Cummings, Jr.; and his siblings James, Donald, Norman, and Marian.

Ralph was a coal miner. He was a Sergeant of Arms in the Marion Corp league of Oakland, MD. He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He will be sadly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to the Marine Corps League of Oakland, MD

A graveside service for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Cemetery in Maidsville, WV officiated by his son, Pastor Greg Cummings. Full Military Honors will be accorded.
