Obituary for Nancy Ann Petrovich (Liddle)

Nancy Ann Petrovich (Liddle)
Nancy A. Petrovich of Greensburg, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 69.

She was born on October 13th 1952 in Pittsburgh.

Nancy, was the daughter of the late William and Rita (Sgro) Liddle, and is preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Petrovich.

She is survived by her son, Richard Verbanick (Angie); daughter, Carrie Verbanick Noll (Tony); step-son, Anthony Petrovich; and her grandchildren, Jacob & Lucas Verbanick.

Nancy was a Team Lead for Amerisource Bergan/Lash Group and retired in 2018. Before her work there she was a talented florist who co-owned three floral shops around the Pittsburgh area, her first shop was Birmingham Florals located in the Southside.

She was a true artist at heart; early-on she played the piano and loved to draw and paint. Throughout her life she would explore other artistic avenues like sewing, beadwork, wood-carving, but would always go back to her painting.

Her passions in life were traveling – she loved the mountains and talked about them often. She enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts, and living her life to its fullest.

She had a large group of friends who loved to laugh and have fun. Her true North was her family, she always went out of her way to create special moments with them; memories they will cherish forever with love and gratitude.

Special thanks to those who lovingly cared for her, including the wonderful staff at Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date with family and friends. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to support rescue animals at White Oak Safe Haven, donations can made online at or sent to 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131
