Obituary for Jeffrey Lynn Thomas
Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Thomas, Jr., 32, of Osage, passed away Thursday, April 27th, 2023 due to injuries he sustained from a fire at his home.
Born March 8th, 1991 in Morgantown, Jeff was the son of Jeffrey Lynn Thomas, Sr. and Kelly Ann Heslop of Morgantown.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter Jalayah Nichole Thomas; his siblings Natasha Alicia Thomas, Justin Lynn Thomas, Tru-Shawn Lynndale Thomas, Jamal Maurice Thomas, and Janessa Lauren Thomas; his nieces and nephews A'Mare, Rayauna, Ramier, Jaeden, Kanaan, and Amaya; his grandmothers Patricia Ann Thomas and Katherine Mary Heslop; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents John Thomas, Jr., and Donald Oliver Heslop.
Jeff was a very bright light in the lives of everyone he knew. There was never a time you didn't know he was in the room. He enjoyed working in landscaping with his father and uncle. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing. He was also a sports enthusiast.
Family was very important to Jeff. It really didn't matter what he was doing with them, it was just the point of being in their presence and being present. He dearly loved children, and children always seemed to gravitate toward him.
Family and friends may join to honor Jeff's life and legacy at Kingdom: A Community Church, 540 Fairmont Rd., Westover, on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 PM.
