He was born in Morgantown on November 19th, 1943, a son of the late Leo and Odessa Franks Spiroff.

Jim is survived by his son, Michael Spiroff and spouse Misty; his grandchildren Alissa Martin and her companion Brendon, Ryan Weber, Brooke Spiroff and fiancé Austin Ammons, and Victoria Spiroff and her fiancé Gavin Henderson; his great-grandchildren, Hallie, Parker, Kamryn, and Aiden; his brothers Tim Spiroff and spouse Connie of East Liverpool, OH, and David Ray Spiroff and his spouse Sue of Morgantown; his long-time companion Ruth Graham of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.

He and his wife Sue started their family business, Tri-State Exterminating, in 1969 and continued until 2011 when his son took over the business. Jim was a bit of a poker player, and enjoyed his usual poker nights with his buddies.

Friends may join the family to honor Jim's life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave. Westover / Morgantown on Monday, July 10th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Tuesday, July 11th, a private graveside committal service will take place at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover, where Jim will be laid to rest with his wife, Sue.
