Obituary for Carol Louise Seals Harvey
Carol Louise Seals Harvey, 74, of Morgantown, formerly of Greene County, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Waynesburg, PA on November 21st, 1947, a daughter the late A. Leon and Betty Henderson Seals.
Carol is survived by her daughter Heather Jo Muth of Morgantown; three grandchildren Zach, Savannah and Sydney; a great-granddaughter, Ada; and her brother Gary L. Seals of Rices Landing, PA.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Wayne in 2012; her son Mark in 2003; and a brother, James L. Seals.
Carol taught at Waynesburg High School and was a manager at the former Stone & Thomas / Elder-Beerman Department Stores. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She was a long-time member and officer of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
At her request, Carol has been cremated.
Friends may join the family to honor Carol's life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover / Morgantown on Friday, May 20, 2022 for a life celebration from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Private inurnment with her husband and son will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
Because of her love of dogs, in lieu of flowers please make donations to your local no-kill shelter.
